COVID-19 CLOSINGS AND ADJUSTMENTS

Governor Holcomb is ordering all Hoosiers to remain in their homes except for employees of crucial industries or permitted activities such as taking care of others, obtaining necessary supplies, and for health and safety. This is in effect from March 25th to April 7th.
Indiana Governor Holcomb has ordered all bars, restaurants and nightclubs to cease in-person dining as of 2:30 PM Monday (3/16/20). Take-out and delivery are still permitted. This order will remain in effect through April 6th.
There will be limited access to Huntingburg City Hall. Only essential meetings will be held. Customers making utility payments can use the drop box or drive through window.
Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center will cancel and/or postpone elective and non-urgent surgical procedures, effective Wednesday, March 18th.
The Micah Center of Dale Presbyterian Church is cancelling Community Table meals on Thursday evenings while Governor Holcomb’s order to stay home is in force.
Suicide Prevention Seminar at St. James Lutheran is postponed to an undecided date at this time It was set for March 31st initially.
Catholic Bishops of Indiana have suspended all public masses effective Wednesday, March 18th until further notice.
Starting Tuesday, March 24 at 7 am, there will be no Adoration at Precious Blood Church.
Trinity United Church of Christ in Jasper has cancelled all activities and services.
St. John’s Lutheran Church at Dubois Crossroads is closed until further notice.
Huntingburg Church of Christ is discontinuing Wednesday evening bible study and 7PM Sunday Service. They will offering services on YouTube and Facebook.
Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville is cancelling Wednesday Lenten Serveries and Sunday School and Sunday church services through the end of March.
The 40 and 8 barbecue for April 19th has been cancelled.
The Dubois County Museum is closed due to the Coronavirus out of concern for our volunteers and visitors.
The Dubois County Museum will be postponing our programs during the month of March, such as Night at the Museum on March 25 with Blake Buechlein and Jasper Reptile Center and the Farm Bureau Breakfast on March 28. Also, the Dubois County Historical Society is postponing its March 26 meeting at the museum with Bill Bartelt about “Abe’s Youth: Shaping the Future President.” We will continue to evaluate the situation on an ongoing basis. Every attempt will be made to reschedule events for a later date.
Shared Abundance in Huntingburg is closed, but the food bank remains open Tuesday 1-3PM and Thursday 6:-7:30PM. Please enter the back door of Shared Abundance to access the food bank.
Huntingburg’s Garden Gate Festival is CANCELLED. The Golden Ticket Raffle that was also scheduled for April 18th will still happen but will become a “virtual” event. Proceeds will benefit the Huntingburg Merchant Association.
The Huntingburg Kiwanis Clubs Car Show scheduled for April 18th is CANCELLED.
The John Conlee concert for April 5th at the Jasper Arts Center has been postponed to June 28th.
The REO Speedwagon concert in Owensboro for April 18th has been rescheduled for Monday, November 2nd.
The Jasper Jaycees Egg Hunt for April 5th has been cancelled.
The Actors Community Theater presentation of Escanaba in Da Moonlight at the Jasper Arts Center has been postponed to May 14, 15, and 16th
The Dubois County Indiana Farm Bureau Ag Day Breakfast to be held at the Dubois County Museum on Saturday, March 28th has been cancelled.
The St. Anthony American Legion Fundraiser has been postponed to a later date. Please turn in your raffle tickets as soon as possible. The raffle will still be held on April 17th
Color My World Preschool will be closed until April 6th.
The Huntingburg Opry will be closed in March and April. Tickets can be used for later shows.
Old National Bank, Hoosier Hills and Dubois Pike FCU are temporarily shifting to banking by appointment and drive through service only effective March 20.
Purdue, Vincennes University, Indiana State University cancels face-to-face commencements.
Indiana University Commencements postponed.
