For the first time ever, the CMT Music Awards are taking the show to Austin, Texas! You can catch it on CBS or live stream on demand from Paramount +. The show is set to air on Sunday, April 2, live from the Moody Center, and some familiar faces are returning.
Kelsea Ballerini will return as co-host in 2023, this marks her third time hosting the show. Kelsea made a surprise appearance at Carrie Underwood’s concert at the Moody Center to make the announcement. Carrie holds the title as the winningest artist in CMT history, with a total of 25 trophies, so it was only fitting that Carrie herself will be performing at the 2023 award show.
