The Ferdinand Folk Festival is a free event that takes place every September. The festival hosts activities that are for the whole family, and it strives to be environmentally friendly. This festival features events such as live music, art, food, and wellness and environmental education.

Information about Donations

To keep the festival free, Ferdinand Folk Fest accepts donations in various ways:

  • There will be eight colorful, large donation barrels
  • At the merch tent, there are buckets for donations
  • Volunteers can be found walking around the festival with donation buckets
  • Supports may also donate through the official website

Expectations:

  • All adults who attend are expected to set good examples for the youth and to engage in responsible, family-friendly behavior 
  • Keep the park clean: There are many designated stations for recycling aluminum, plastic bottles and caps, and place compostable trash in the marked containers
  • Pop-up tents are permitted only along the very outer edges of the lawn
  • Patrons may bring coolers into the park, but glass bottles are not allowed, to protect children and others from broken glass
  • If one is 21 or older and drinks alcohol, drink responsibly
  • Underaged drinkers may face arrest 
    • There will be security on the festival grounds
  • Pets are welcome, but owners must clean up after the pets, and pets must be kept on a leash for their and others’ safety
  • Smoking is not permitted on the lawn
    • Smokers may smoke in open areas above and away from others
    • Cigarette butts must be disposed in trash containers
