We wanted to take this moment to pay tribute to someone very special to us here at WBDC.
Ron ‘Gonzo’ Wiseman was more than just a loyal listener, he was part of our radio family. If you’ve ever tuned in for the Sunny’s Morning Brainteaser, chances are you’ve heard his name as one of our most frequent winners.
Gonzo had a sharp mind, a quick wit, and a great sense of humor, and he proudly wore the title of Smartest Person on the Planet more times than we can count.
Today, as friends and family gather to say goodbye, we’d like to honor him one last time…no brainteaser today, but this one’s for you, Gonzo.
For everything you brought to our mornings and our station… we’re naming you once more the Smartest Person on the Planet.
Rest easy, Gonzo. You’ll be missed, but never forgotten.
