The Dubois County Museum will host its annual Harvest Day on Sunday, October 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 2704 N. Newton Street in Jasper.
The afternoon will feature demonstrations of traditional farming and household activities, including stone carving, quilting, loom weaving, corn shelling and grinding, honey extracting, sorghum making, and butter churning.
The Patoka River Strummers will perform dulcimer music from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Additional activities include pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, old-fashioned games, and crafts. Popcorn, homemade ice cream, and apple cider will also be available.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for high school students, and $2 for elementary and middle school students. Children ages 4 and under and museum members are admitted free. No reservations are required.
