The St. Mary Church Picnic returns to Ireland, Indiana, on Sunday, September 13, 2026, with festivities beginning at 10 a.m. The annual picnic features homemade food, handmade quilts, raffles, kids’ games, vintage items, and more.
Chicken dinners will be served beginning at 10 a.m. with inside, outdoor, and drive-thru dining available. Other food options include hamburgers, ice cream, homemade chicken noodle soup, soft drinks, and lemonade. The quilt wheel begins at 10:30 a.m., featuring beautiful handmade quilts.
The grand raffle drawing will take place at 3:30 p.m. with a $3,000 top prize, additional cash prizes, and more. Other raffles include quilts, Merkley Meat certificates, a cooler and chairs, theme baskets, a TV, a half pot, and a kids’ tractor with loader and wagon.
Visitors can also shop vintage costume jewelry, vintage Christmas ornaments, and homemade items from the country store. The picnic offers shaded grounds, free parking, and free shuttle service.
